WORSHIP

At Delta Christian Center, we consider worship of God to be of great importance. And we love to worship Him! The purpose of our worship however is not to experience the hand of God, it is to see the face of God. Worship is for God! All true worship has God at its center. It's all about Him. God does not need our praise, and yet to our astonishment he delights in it. He loves us, and like a loving parent he wants the best for us.

Worship - Is a Heart Matter:

PRAISE AND WORSHIP OF GOD STRENGTHENS OUR WILL - when you join with others in praise and worship, you find yourself renewed and strengthened Psalm 145: 3 says, "Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom."

The act of loving God with our whole mind, body and spirit is true worship. How we go about this is demonstrated in our actions. There is freedom to express our worship, whether quietly or exuberantly, whether in song, or dance, or using colorful banners. The aim is the same, to glorify Him & to rejoice in His presence!
